John Burroughs School is seeking applicants for the Teaching Fellows Program, a two-year full-time program designed for graduates and those with a higher education degree to begin a career in an independent educational institution. At the end of the program, applicants are sought who teach in an independent upper-grade school and are eligible for a $1,000-a-month scholarship and an annual salary of up to $20,500. The scholarship program will be targeted from the 2021-2022 school year, according to a news release from JohnBurrough's School.

Teachers are accompanied by an independent upper-class teacher from John Burroughs School who will accompany, advise and support them throughout the two-year program.
